Foreclosed Mansion of Former NBA Player Jannero Pargo Sells for $1.375 Million

by San Antonio Attorney

Jannero Pargo, a former NBA player, lost his six-bedroom Riverwoods mansion in 2014 and the foreclosed property has recently been sold $1.375 million.

Former Chicago Bulls player, Pargo, played for the team between 2004 and 2006 and yet again between 2009 and 2010.  Together with his former spouse, Malaysia Pargo, they paid $2.25 million for the 11,887-square-foot quasi French chateau-style property in 2009.

Jannero and Malaysia initially listed the impressive home in 2013 for the price of $2.395 million.  The mansion was foreclosed in 2014, as recorded in the Lake County office.  Nevertheless, during the course of foreclosure, the property mostly stayed on the market.  It was continuously listed by the bank that seized the mansion, with an asking price $1.495 million.

The mansion has 8-1/2 baths, 4 fireplaces, a family room, a recreation room at the lower level, and many other features.

Jannero and Malaysia got divorced in 2014.  Jannero was ordered to give $14,580 monthly for child support and an additional $800 monthly for their childcare on top of giving Malaysia 50 percent of the money he received in his retirement from the NBA.

If you are facing foreclosure on a home you want to keep and you believe you can save your home, you probably will need the help of a qualified Real Estate Attorney.  More often than not, you will need to go to court to raise your defense, by responding to the lawsuit against you or filing your own lawsuit against the lender foreclosing on your property.
